HearthStone Clydesdale: turn a drafty fireplace into a real heat source
The Clydesdale slides into your existing masonry fireplace and turns it into an efficient heater for up to 2,000 sq ft. It ships complete with a blower and cast iron surround, and burns up to 24 hours with TruHybrid combustion.
Make your fireplace work
An open masonry fireplace sends most of its heat up the chimney. An insert seals the opening, burns far more efficiently and pushes heat into the room with its blower, so your fireplace becomes a real heat source.

How much space will the Clydesdale heat?
Up to 2,000 sq ft, depending on your home's layout, insulation and climate. Our fireplace team can help you size the right stove: call (336) 397-4920.
Will it fit my fireplace?
Masonry hearths 7" or taller: ember protection only. Hearths under 7" tall need added insulation (see manual). Minimum fireplace opening: 32½" W x 23¼" H x 13" D (hearth may taper to 27" W x 21" H at the back wall). Send us your fireplace measurements and we'll check the fit.
What accessories do most people add?
Most customers start with the Clydesdale Surround Base Cap Set 94-5970610 / 94-5970620, then the Clydesdale Surround Extension 94-5990010 (59" x 36"). You can add these right on this page under “Complete your setup.”
Is there a warranty?
Yes. HearthStone backs its stoves with a manufacturer's limited warranty. Register your stove with HearthStone after installation; see the owner's manual for coverage details.
