Description

The Uptown UE42 LCD Electric Fireplace combines the proportions of a large traditional fireplace with an advanced HD LCD flame system and Uptown's distinctive real-wood log presentation. Uptown lists the UE42 LCD among both its traditional fireplaces and fireplace inserts, making it suitable for creating a new built-in fireplace or integrating into an appropriate existing fireplace opening.

Instead of a conventional electric flame effect, the LCD version uses a high-definition screen positioned behind the log set. The display offers eight unique flame options, allowing the appearance of the fire to change while retaining the depth and character of a traditional log fireplace.

Uptown's Western Timber log set uses real timber that is individually torched and detailed. Lighting beneath the wood chips and ember media creates the appearance of glowing coals, while the included steel fire grate anchors the logs for a more authentic wood-burning fireplace appearance.

Ambient crackling fire sounds add to the experience and can be turned on or off. Fireplace settings can be controlled from the included touch-enabled remote or a smartphone or tablet through app control. The UE42 platform is also thermostat compatible and features a 120V heater with 240V-ready capability.
