Description
The Vermont Castings Encore Wood Stove combines traditional cast-iron craftsmanship with advanced combustion technology to provide powerful, dependable heat for medium to larger living spaces. Its distinctive cast-iron detailing and large fire-viewing area give the Encore the classic appearance Vermont Castings is known for while incorporating features designed to make everyday wood burning easier.
The spacious firebox accommodates logs up to 22", while the convenient top-loading design makes adding wood easier and helps minimize smoke and ember exposure during loading. Thermostatically controlled combustion regulates airflow throughout the burn cycle for more consistent heat and longer burns.
An integrated swing-out ash pan simplifies cleanup, while the cast-iron griddle top provides an additional surface for cooking or warming.

Loading & Convenience
The Encore's top-loading system allows firewood to be added through the stove's griddle top, providing convenient access to the large firebox while helping reduce smoke and ember exposure during loading.
A swing-out ash pan makes routine maintenance easier and allows ash to be contained during removal. The stove's 22" maximum log capacity also means larger pieces of firewood can be used compared with Vermont Castings' smaller models.
FlexBurn Combustion Technology
The Encore uses Vermont Castings FlexBurn Technology, providing flexible combustion operation while helping deliver efficient, controlled wood burning.
Thermostatically controlled airflow automatically responds as the fire progresses through its burn cycle, helping maintain more consistent heat without requiring constant manual air adjustments.
Flue & Installation
The Encore uses a 6" flue connection and supports both top-vent and rear-vent configurations. The reversible arrangement provides flexibility for new installations as well as connections to existing chimney systems.
