Description

The HearthStone Green Mountain 20 TruHybrid Wood Stove brings HearthStone's clean-burning technology and soapstone heat retention to a compact stove designed for smaller spaces. With heating capacity up to 575 sq. ft., it is well suited for cabins, tiny homes, smaller living rooms, workshops, and other spaces where a full-size wood stove would be more than necessary.

Its 1.0 cu. ft. firebox accommodates logs up to 18 inches long, with 16-inch logs recommended for convenient everyday loading. Despite its compact footprint, the Green Mountain 20 can produce up to 23,000 BTU/hr and offers up to 9.5 hours of HeatLife.

The firebox is lined with soapstone, which absorbs heat from the fire and gradually radiates it back into the room. This helps soften the intense heat normally associated with smaller cast iron stoves and provides a more comfortable, sustained warmth as the fire burns down.

HearthStone's TruHybrid combustion system combines primary, secondary, and catalytic tertiary combustion for efficient, exceptionally clean wood burning. The Green Mountain 20 achieves 78.5% efficiency with EPA-certified emissions of just 1.14 g/hr. A fully adjustable air control allows the stove to be operated hotter and faster when more heat is needed or lower and slower for extended heating.

The Green Mountain 20 features clean-lined cast iron construction with a Matte Black finish and a large front glass window for a clear view of the fire. Its 6-inch top-exit flue works with common chimney configurations, while optional side and rear heat shields can substantially reduce installation clearances.
