Description

The HearthStone Green Mountain Insert 70 (GMi70) transforms an existing masonry fireplace into an efficient wood-burning heat source while maintaining a clean, flush-mount appearance.

Built with a handsome cast iron front and HearthStone's signature soapstone-lined firebox, the GMi70 captures heat from the fire and gradually releases it into the room. This provides the comfortable, steady warmth HearthStone is known for while making better use of an existing fireplace.

The spacious firebox accommodates logs up to 20", while a large ceramic glass viewing window provides an excellent view of the fire. A single-lever air control keeps operation simple, allowing you to easily adjust the fire from a hotter, faster burn to a slower, longer-lasting burn.

With its combination of traditional cast iron styling, soapstone heat retention, and modern clean-burning technology, the Green Mountain Insert 70 is an excellent option for medium to larger living spaces.

Soapstone Heat

The soapstone-lined firebox absorbs heat while the stove is burning and releases it gradually into the room. This helps provide a more consistent, comfortable heat rather than the rapid temperature changes often associated with a traditional open fireplace.

Fireplace Installation

The Green Mountain Insert 70 is designed for installation into a compatible existing masonry fireplace. Its flush-fitting design creates a clean, built-in appearance while converting the fireplace into a much more effective source of wood heat.
