Description
The HearthStone Green Mountain Insert 90 (GMi90) transforms an existing masonry fireplace into a powerful and efficient wood-burning heat source while maintaining the clean, finished appearance of a flush-mount fireplace insert.
Built with an enameled cast iron exterior and HearthStone's signature soapstone firebox lining, the GMi90 combines the durability of cast iron with the heat-retaining properties of soapstone. The soapstone absorbs heat from the fire and gradually releases it into the room, helping provide comfortable, steady warmth even as the fire begins to die down.
Designed for larger living spaces, the GMi90 accommodates logs up to 20" and can heat areas up to 2,200 sq. ft. A large ceramic glass viewing area provides an excellent view of the fire, while the single-lever air control makes it easy to regulate the burn.
Available in multiple finish options, the Green Mountain Insert 90 provides a traditional cast iron appearance while fitting neatly into an existing fireplace opening.

Soapstone Heat
Soapstone lines the firebox to absorb heat from the fire and release it gradually into the home. This helps smooth out temperature swings and provides the steady, comfortable radiant heat HearthStone stoves and inserts are known for.
Fireplace Installation
The Green Mountain Insert 90 is designed to be installed into a compatible existing masonry fireplace. Its flush-mount design provides the heating performance of a modern wood-burning appliance while preserving a clean, built-in fireplace appearance.
