Description

The HearthStone Shelburne TruHybrid Cast Iron Wood Stove combines traditional cast iron craftsmanship with modern clean-burning technology and the heat-retaining benefits of soapstone. Designed as a medium-sized stove for spaces up to 2,000 sq. ft., the Shelburne delivers up to 60,000 BTU/hr while maintaining an impressive 79% HHV efficiency.

Inside, the 2.0 cu. ft. firebox is lined with soapstone blocks that absorb heat from the fire and gradually release it back into the room. HearthStone's TruHybrid combustion system combines primary, secondary, and catalytic combustion for efficient performance and exceptionally low emissions of just 0.6 g/hr.

The Shelburne accommodates logs up to 18 inches long and provides up to 24 hours of HeatLife. Its front-loading configuration and large glass window provide convenient access to the firebox and an excellent view of the flames. The stove is also designed and finished from every angle, including a detailed backside, making it especially attractive for installations where more than just the front of the stove is visible.

Installation is especially flexible with a 6-inch flue that can be configured for either top or rear exit. An optional convection blower with rear heat shield can improve heat circulation while reducing rear clearance, and an optional outside air adapter is available for installations requiring outside combustion air.
