The Vermont Castings Gifford Wood Insert brings the warmth and character of a traditional wood fire to smaller rooms and fireplace openings. Its compact design makes it an excellent option for homeowners who want to convert an existing masonry fireplace into a more efficient source of wood heat without overwhelming the space.

Crafted with Vermont Castings' signature cast-iron styling, the Gifford combines traditional craftsmanship with modern heating performance. A variable-speed blower helps circulate warm air throughout the room, while automatic combustion control simplifies operation and provides consistent heat throughout the burn cycle.

Its smaller footprint, classic appearance, and convenient operation make the Gifford especially well suited for fireplaces where space is limited but genuine wood-burning heat is still the goal.
