Loading & Convenience

The Intrepid FlexBurn features a convenient top-loading design that allows firewood to be loaded through the stove's griddle top. The firebox accommodates logs up to 14", making it particularly well suited for smaller spaces.

A swing-out ash pan with a handled cover simplifies ash removal, while the cast-iron griddle provides a useful cooking or warming surface when the stove is operating.

FlexBurn Combustion Technology

FlexBurn Technology gives you the flexibility to operate the Intrepid in either non-catalytic or catalytic configurations.

The Catalytic Performance Pack is optional and is not included with the standard stove. Adding the catalyst provides the Intrepid's highest efficiency and lowest emissions, while the standard non-catalytic configuration provides dependable, clean-burning performance without a catalyst.

Thermostatically controlled combustion helps regulate airflow as the fire burns, providing more consistent heat output with less frequent manual adjustment.

Optional Accessories

• Catalytic Performance Pack: Adds catalytic operation for increased efficiency and lower emissions. Sold separately.
• Warming Shelves: Available as optional accessories and sold separately. Two shelves are required for a complete left-and-right set.

Flue & Installation

The Intrepid FlexBurn uses a 6" reversible flue collar and supports both top-vent and rear-vent installations. This provides considerably more installation flexibility than a top-vent-only stove, particularly when connecting to an existing chimney system.
